Hello world!

It's been a while since the latest writing I've written on my old blog, now i moved into this brand new blog in order to find a brand new blogging experience.
My old blog is about all things, since i was a teenager in the middle school i wrote everything, so my old blog is about mixed things and nothing specifically. This year i decided to create this blog so i could write things i like.

My old blog: Denz Blogging

Even though this blog is created to fulfill my blogging desire and to fill my spare time with useful things, i would like to post something like blogging tutorials or maybe my hobbies.

Okay before we continue, i would like to introduce myself a little bit. Nice to meet you awesome readers, I'm Alifsar. Let's just call me Alif. I go to International Relations major in Pasundan University, a famous private-college in Bandung, Indonesia.

I love listen to music especially K-pop music. I listened to K-pop since 2009, since the Girls' Generation's golden era until this brand new era of TWICE, GFRIEND and Red Velvet. Not to mention that I've added new list to girlgroups that i stan. They are LOONA #StanLOONA and Dreamcatcher!!! Their music is so catchy, especially Dreamcatcher who has their rocking-vibes.
K-pop warms my heart and calms my Seoul.
Besides of listening to Korean music, I like playing games too.
I love playing many games but i'm not a hardcore gamer. Just a casual gamer. I played my games through Steam and Uplay.

This post is supposed to be my "Hello world!" style post but I've written too much so see you on my next posts!

Thank you!

Indonesian Canned Tuna as Indonesia’s Fishery Export Commodity to Japan

Classical realists assume that human nature is self-centered and egotistic. Realism in international relations clearly stated that national interests are the most important thing to pursue in order to maintain national survivability. In order to pursue their national interests, nations must maximize their power. Classical realists focus on nations as the primary actors, which are rational and driven by their self-interests. Unlike classical realists, structural realists (neorealists) recognized non-state actors.  Though international trade is not realists' main concern, it can be analyzed using the neoliberalism perspective. Which neorealists argue that international trade is a process of the liberalized economy as a process that creates a positive-sum game, meaning that one states’ win, can be other states’ win too, regardless of the sum of advantage. Indonesia is the largest tuna-exporting country in the world (as per 2020), Indonesia and Japan are bonded in various internation...

Gender and Sexuality: Same or Different?

Discussing gender and sexuality is subtly uncommon or even considered ‘taboo’ in some parts of the world. This phenomenon is caused by ancient social constructions of gender. Steans and Pettiford (2009) stated that these social constructions of genders have been identified also as sexual differences that have dynamically and gradually changed throughout history. The primordial beliefs of gender are various among world civilizations and cultures. (Steans & Pettiford, 2009: 323-324). Initially, the term ‘gender’ is used to dichotomize fundamental differences between men and women. (Puspitawati, 2013). Gender has to be distinguished from sexuality. (Fakih, 1996). The concept of gender is introduced by social scientists to examine and explain the differences of ‘natural/biological' and ‘social construction’ of mankind that have been consistently developed and socialized primordially. Sexuality by biological nature, defined male as creatures who have a penis and produce sperm; meanw...

A Social Construction, Deconstruction, and Reconstruction of the Primordial Nature of Indonesian Women

In a primordial and conventional Indonesian culture, an ‘ideal woman’ is depicted as a loving wife and a caring mother. A wife who always obeys her husband and always-caring for her family. This kind of ‘template’ or ‘blueprint’ has developed into a seemingly permanent standard and norms in social institutions, and it has been and will always be developed from time to time. Hence, this condition will affect how society ‘shapes’ women, especially how the men view women, and how women view themselves in which how they would put their ‘roles’ in the social process in society. Source: www.tirto.co.id As time goes by, this primordial nature of how society views women as ‘second-class’ citizens and how they depict women ‘only’ as a loving wife and a caring mother, should not be conserved anymore. The women’s emancipation and the feminist waves of movements have been consistently increasing women’s participation in society. Initially, the whole world and civilizations, particularly Indonesian...
